Can Herpes look like something else?

I am very nervous that I might have contracted herpes. I do not think I have ever examined my penis the way I have in the last 36 hours. I noticed a day after having drunken, unprotected sex, that my whole genital area was kind of sore and felt like it was sun burned.. Well I went to the doc 2 days after and he did not see any herpes. Well I started to research more and found out the I have herpes symptoms. So I start looking at every orifice of my penis and i found these tiny pearly bumps on the underside of the head of the penis. They look like pearly penile papules, but there is about 6 bumps and 2 are on the gland and the other 4 are just below the gland in a line.3 on are one side of the urethra line, and 3 on the other in a vertical line.. Does this sound like herpes? Please any help would be appreciated. Like I said I have never looked over my penis in this manner, so I am not sure how long they have been there.. Could have shown up the day i found them, or anytime before that.. Thank you!

You would have almost crater type lesions when they pop and keak fluid.

Hsv lesions progress from red spot to water type blister in a day or two. They are not white and 5 days unchanged is not hsv

Ok so new update... I have discovered that the spots on my glad are definitely not herpes (Doc confirmed).. But I have noticed two half inch sized blisters on my scrotum  that are slightly painful to touch. However, I do not see any sign of bumps within that blister. I just noticed that the skin was shedding today and the blister is smooth and normal looking within its radius. If this was a herpes related skin issue would I notice scabs or any sign of bumps inside of the blister?

Usually yes but they can be mild as well. Some folks have little pain with their lesions.

Thank you! One more question. How long do the initial bumps last before turning into scabs?? These little white guys have not changed at all in 5 days..

You're welcome. If you get hsv lesions you will know it.

I hope not. Not that I wouldnt personally be ok with herpes. I just know my wife would kill me. It would be my luck that the one and only time I ever cheated ' I would contract something that I would give her.. I already feel like a piece of ****, but I dont want to have to burden her with my shame.. So im praying..  Thank you for youre response brother

It's so hard to judge when i haven't taken a look. Did your dr swab the lesion and area?

No. He said if it was herpes it is already healing so he couldnt tell. and that since it was healing so soon after exposure he had his doubts about it being herpes..
