Herpies and Test Results

Ok, so I posted back in December about an issue where I had severe anal itching and several small fissures that I could feel when takin a bath and could see. This all started 3 weeks after a possible exposure because of receptive anal sex where Thenperson used protection, but I think thenckndom broke. I'm not for sure. This all happened the beginning of November. Started having the issues Thanksgiving.  They would show up and be there for like two days and go away. Then pop back up for a few days and go away. Had this and the itching for almost 3 weeks. Went to the doctor and they ran a full work up for stds and everything came up negative. Hebinjitally treated me for chlymidia and gohnorrhia just to be on the safe side. He suspected hemorrhoids. I had no evidence of external hemorrhoids at all. The antibiotics made it to where I had diarhia and caused me to get raw down there and he thesallncuts again. The first test was at a month from possible exposure. I went back and he retested for having 1 and 2 via blood test again. This was at the 2 month mark. The test values were exactly the same. IGM showed <0.91 neg and IGG showed neg for type 1 and 2. While waiting for the test results Inhad a knot show upnexternally that the doc said is an external hemmohroid. I never had any flu like symptoms or anything. Just the itching. I also had intermittent pain down the backlog my left thigh for about a day and a half and have experienced a weird ache in my right butt cheek the last day or so off and on. I'm trying to work things out with my wife and InthimknIm just freaking myself out. But don't know for sure. Just nervous. She wants to have sex again but I'm scared I might have contracted herpies and don't want to give it to her..... any thoughts? Thanks a million.

I agree with your Dr. And your wife has a cold or flu coming on. Definitely not hsv or any std for that matter. Next day is to soon and this wouldn't be the symptoms anyway

Thank you very much for your response. I seriously appreciate it. It gives me some relief from my racing mind. Even though results were negative Inwill retest at 3 months as you suggested. Thank you again.
Sounds l8ke a great plan and I wish you the best. Keep me posted on future results (they will be negative. Lol)

So, the chances of me actually having hsv after those two rests are extremely low? My doctor told me that after the results of the second test, that I'd have better chances playing and winning the lottery than being positive after that time. He said if I had hsv it would have shown positive by now. I'm really nervous because the night before last night, I drank with my wife and we had sex. She was feeling ok yesterday but today is feeling congested and has a headache. Shes pretty tired also. I dont know if symptoms like that would show that quickly or not. Now Im totally freaking out. I didnt want to have have sex but it had been 1 1/2 months since we had sex and she knows nothing if the incident and was really pushing. She's not having any issues below and feels ok there. God, am I psyching myself out or should there be a real fear. We're trying to put things back together and I'm terrified because It's not just us but we have 2 children.

Test at 12 weeks to be sure. That being said your 8 week test is a great indicator that you do not have hsv. The majority of people would test positive by now if they had it. When you test at twelve weeks get an igg only. No igm testing. They are extremely unreliable and should never be given.
