Have I got Herpes?

Hi all,

I had unprotected sex back in Jan this year. Within about a week I noticed a pulling pain in the right side of my groin. I went to the docs and they gave me 4 weeks of doxycycline which had no effect unfortunately. I also suffer from almost sensitive skin on both inner thighs, pubic area and lower belly.. if I wear tight clothing it'll irritate the skin and the skin then feels itchy and sometimes bruised but no marks/rashes etc show. I also get slight tingling in the groin area and sometimes lower tummy.. usually at least 10 tingling per day which last no longer than 5 seconds. The symptoms are persistent (everyday) and the UK do know perform blood test for Herpes so it's driving me crazy because in the back of my mind I think it could be Herpes but with no blisters etc it leaves me with no answers! It's worth mentioning that I have had several STI tests and all came back negative.

Anyone got any ideas? Desperate for answers no, 9 months of this worry is not good for my stress levels :(

There is no way this is hsv related. Tingling associated with hsv will be followed by lesions. All this talk of atypical hsv is rrally over blown and has no actual facts behind it. Hsv is a virus and viruses follow patterns. Your tingling is not an issue of herpes

Thanks Feeling..

I just wish I could figure out what this is..

Guess I need to go back to the docs and force them to explore this further because it's literally driving me up the wall.
