Igm and igg

I have a question and hope someone can answer it. Six months ago I tested for hsv and here were my results: igm 1.37 and igg type specific 1 & 2 were both negative. Well I tested six months later and here are my results: igm 1.46 and igg type specific 1 & 2 were both negative again. My question is why would the igm go up? I've had chicken pox and mono as a child so is it reacting to that? I'm guessing I don't have either strain of hsv? And what do I tell my dr of they call back and say they want further testing? Thanks!

Hi you dont have sex within 6 months and no symtoms
You are 90% not infected by hsv .
This my  opinion.
But I also tested six months back and my igm hsv2 is 1.1
But hsv 1 and 2 are negative .but i have symtomes and  I do not
Know it is due to herpes Or not.

So better do the western blot to remove herpes  thought entily.

I understand the igm has a high false positive rate but why would the igm go up six months later and the igg still negative?

Igm  testing has a high false positive and you shouldn't be getting it done.
