If it's been a year then an igg blood test will be accurate.

I will do that, does it matter that its been over a year since I've been with this girl, will that affect the test or is this okay?
I have no way of knowing what your insurance would cover at every clinic. You need to contact your insurance or call your local clinic and ask these questions.

I'm a college student, so I don't have the money to be charged for something not covered by insurance. If I go into a walk in clinic should insurance cover this and would the walk in clinic be likely to have the appropriate, type-specific G protein test?
I already told you that it doesn't sound like herpes in my first reply.
You can chose to wait and be seen for this 1 1/2 months from now or you can chose to go and be seen sooner than that so that you get accurate answers and can stop worrying.

I guess what I'm really after is if this is herpes or not, to the best of knowledge of those on here. I really don't think its the fungus, it doesn't look the same. I may be using the incorrect word by using puss. It is like popping a pimple, the same liquid that would come out of a pimple popped on the face. Once it is popped it doesn't ooze or "puss" any more. I only have on of these sores right now and popped it a few days ago. It is likely to be healed before I can go in and have a doctor look at it. This would create a problem I'm guessing. I have had these pimple like things pop up before I was sexually active but it seems more common now.
Where you were infected is actually pretty meaningless. You are now playing the "what if" game which gets you nowhere - you need to be seen and get proper medical evaluation. This could be all still fungus going on that wasn't properly taken care of or came back and it also could be a folliculitis or even a skin infection but since you mention getting pus out of these things - you need prompt medical evaluation to make sure it's not a bacterial skin infection going on.

Well its not overwhelming or anything, these come and go every once in awhile. Its not that there are a ton of them, all the time and are uncomfortable. I just want to make sure these "symptoms" that come time to time are not herpes. I have a serious girlfriend now and do not want to spread anything to her if I have something. Is it common to get pimple/infected hair follicles in the regions I explained, or even on the shaft of the penis? Again, I don't even know if this girl had herpes, we are not really on a talking basis and there is no way I'm just going to ask her if she has herpes out of the blue, that probably wouldn't get me anywhere. Again, we never had unprotected sex of any kind, so does that mean the one on my shaft was very likely to just be a pimple since her skin never touched this area? I realize it can spread but from where the other "pimples" are it is hard to imagine that my shaft touched that area, unless it was one of the inside of my thigh, where my penis could come into contact with it (the pimples I get on my thighs are somewhat far down, a few inches or so from where my scrotum hangs, but sitting or something could allow contact)
if you can't be seen for 1 1/2 months then you need to first go to a walk in clinic somewhere and have this all professionally evaluated better. If it truly is a skin infection , you can't wait another 1 1/2 months.
Does this sound like herpes? no it does not.
