Herpes? My symptoms and my chances

Hello everyone. Recently had some strange symptoms wondering if its herpes.

So this is what happened. I made a stupid mistake of sleeping with an unfamiliar woman. I used protection the entire time except for when she gave me oral. The condom was kinda small for me and felt a little tight, however it did not rip or came off during. We did alot of kissing.

My symptoms. Theres a portion of my penis just below the head that kinda looks like a brush burn and thats what i originally thought it was. Thought it was from the friction of intercourse because we were going at it. Its not bleeding or oozing anything its just sensitive to touch. When i took a shower a thin layer of skin pulled off it. Also when i masturbated once it cracked a little again no blood just split the skin a little. I also have developed an ulcer in my mouth on the sides. Now this isnt anything new i have had ulcers before but the timing of this one has me worried.

Ive already come to terms that its probably herpes (or syphilis) just want to get another point of view on the matter before i get tested. Also would like to know what its like living with herpes from someone who has, but theres probably a forum for that somewhere on this site. So thank you in advance for any and all answers.

I apprecitae the reply. Means alot. My current situtation/location makes getting a test slightly difficult although I have every intention of getting one asap. But if not herpes what else could cause these symptoms be caused by? Syphilis?

Hi, if she did not have any genital or lip sores at the time, your risk is close to zero that you contracted herpes from a one time affair. Have a blood test at the 8 week mark as a good indicator.
