Diagnosing confusion

Hi Every One

I am one of these Parinoid types and have some concerns which i would like to put to the forum.

One i have had Mutual Masterbation with a massage worker in South america ... No sex no Oral Just touching where i touch her and then touched my self during the process. ( I have done this 2 In My 13

After which i washed my self in the shower.... i wake up the next day feeling bad and uneasy because ...Yes i am Married....

Then after a couple of days of thinking about this i started to feel sensations in the Uretha and Pelvic this has come and gone now for 3 weeks .... i will ad that i some times have a sentation in the Uretha so not totally alian to me ... but this time it felt diffrent.

so at 17 days on my return to australia i had all test done .... all negative with the exception of Herpes which was Equivical ... i do not have exactly the Figure on me ....

It is now 21 days and i have no signs of obvious herpes but still have a little sensation in my Uretha ..... What are your opinions on this issue.

Now to add to this i wish to discuss my wife .... over the Past year she has been getting Monthly cold sores .... i have been with her for 13 years and previously she would get them 2 a year this make no sence as it should be declining not geting worse.

I have oral herpes but never have a out break ..... i am curious about the my wifes out breaks and why she may be getting them more regulaly than previous.

looking for feed back on my situation and am i being parinoid or should i have some concerns.

you need to follow up on all of this with an urologist. not a herpes problem so nothing really we can help you with at this point.

Dear Doc and All,

I asked a question after having Mutual Masturbation and some concern around STD after every one telling me i was very very unlikely to have caught a STD this way and having  all test for STD coming back neg i put it out of my mind.

However, since then i get periods of time where i have feelings in my Penis which range from very mild ack to a nice feeling like i want to come cum...or something similar to this.

My doc said i was feeling guilty about my massage (Married)  and it was sub conscious ... and i went along with this... But this is not going away and keeps coming up...

Now!! over the last 6 months i have had difficulty with  erection whilst masturbating and in recent times i have cum without a erection on numerous occasions.

I am wondering if this is the cause of the feelings i am having in this area.

Could it be related to the prostrate... or could i have strained this area for example

I am going back to the Doc but was looking for some answers.

What are your thoughts

No

you have hsv1 orally. You already know that. You are incredibly unlikely to contract it on other body parts.

no reason for more herpes testing.

"occasional feelings" aren't anything to worry about. I'm siding with your doc on this one - worrying way too much about nothing.

Thanks every one for your responces .... i went and discussed the results with the doctor
What it said was

HSV 1 Detected
HSV 2 no detection
HSV1 & 2 Igm ?? equivical

I have no signs other than occassional feelings in the Uretha ... the doctor said i am worring about nothing .... but i did get conflicting info on weather you could spread it, if you have no Physical signs .... the wb tell you it can but both doc and STD nurse said no... not sure what to think about this ... both of them say that i am at no risk unless physical signs arrise.... Who really know.... I reead that i could have genital HSV 1  with no symptoms ... that makes wounder... i have had HSV 1 since early teens....

You have to admit the litriture is very confusing and in a lot of cases contridicts each other..

also your wife can try daily suppressive therapy to see if that helps reduce her cold sore frequency. if it doesn't, she should seek out a dermatologist for further evaluation to make sure that it really is oral herpes causing her symptoms this frequently.  also she should make sure she's not using any "plumping" lipsticks or cinnamon flavored lip glosses and such too.

you won't get a std from mutual masturbation. sounds more like perhaps anxiety about the encounter is more of the issue?

did you have a regular urine test to look for bacteria?

did the person you had the encounter with use any massage oils or anything?

you won't get herpes from the contact you had. no reason for any further testing for herpes.

Hi, I'll try to help,
1. Mutual masturbating -  no risk.
2. Sensations in the uretha may due your guilty feeling, Just anxiety.
3.You need to retest for Herpes virus 1 and 2 best test is IGG type spefc.
4.Was she tested for herpes 1 and 2?
5. Recurrence of cold sore(Herpes) vary different from person to person.
6. If your wife have the oral herpes its possible you may got it from her by kissing or oral sex on genital.
