French kissing
Hi met someone I did not know and indulged in French kissing and fingering. No sex involved. Is it possible to get HSV-1 or mono via kissing. Reading the internet it says it is possible. If so would you know the timeline someone could get HSV-1 or what the symptoms are? Thank you.
Sure, you can get HSV 1 or mono from kissing. The percentage of the population that has oral herpes is huge, even kids have it. You'd probably have noticed a sore on her lip though you can get it even if it is before the sore forms. Mono is a virus and yes, you can get it through kissing. It usually happens in teenagers though. You are probably too old to have this be a true concern. But it's possible.

I did get an upper respiratory infection and had to eat a dose of antibiotics for 10 days. Still have a headache and general run down feeling. Also wanted to know if syphilis can be transmitted by deep kissing and is it a true risk and does it warrant any testing. Thanks.
