Do recurring OBs always present themselves the same way?

I know OBs vary from person to person, but do they vary from OB to OB? In other words, if you had obvious blisters before can you expect next OB to look the same or is it possible for following OBs to be much more subtle. Say a raw patch of skin on the lip

i have hsv1 for over 20years ob for me happen on two spots only one more than the other as a kid I believe I got them in different areas around my mouth aside from the location they always look similar. Raw pach of skin on the lips would not be typical herpes OB

If i had very obvious typical symptoms before would i expect the same in a recurrent ob
Also what do your symptoms typically look like
No. Outbreaks can move anywhere within the nerve path. While some people get outbreaks in the same location, it’s not uncommon for them to move to a different side of the lips or even up to the nose.
