Frequency

I was told that if you have recurrent hsv2 genitally, and then get hsv1 orally, you can also expect oral recurrences.  Does this remain as true if the oral infection is also hsv2?  I know it does not tend to "like" above the waist, but does frequency down below tell anything to frequency above the waist?

Hi,
Thanks for your comment.  Sorry if we got off to a rough start.  I'm really not feeling like myself these days.

I have not come off of my antivirals, and have had no recurrence orally, and nothing visible with my eyes or side of my head.  I will follow Dr's advice and come off the antivirals to see if anything pops up, and then I can get it swabbed if it happens.  I am waiting a little while though, just in case something does "pop" up, to come off meds, I have a lot of social events going on right now.

Pain has persisted however, and I will be going to see a neurologist.

Thanks again.

have you done any follow up for your symptoms you've posted about previously and talked about with HHH on the experts forum?

hsv2 orally tends not to reoccur  in general.
