usually herpes lesions are not described as hard.
has he been tested to know his own status?
grace
Yes, and he does have it.
well if he knows he has genital herpes, he should avoid sex anytime he has anything going on genitally in case it triggers shedding that can infect you.
has he been seen about his bump he has now though?
is he on daily suppressive therapy?
He just got seen for the herpes because I told him I found out I have it. Now he obviously has it too like I said. He doesn't have insurance to pay for the suppressive pills. I take them everyday. No he hasn't been to get that bump checked out. Do tou have any idea what it could be??
Ok, let's clearify a few things first so we can help you better.
First, how were you diagnosed with genital herpes? Blood test, swab of a lesion? If so, post you results here.
Second, was your boyfriend ever tested for herpes, such as a blood test?
Anyway, the only way to know if such bump is herpetic is being seen by a doctor, as Grace told you above. It could be a number of things, really.
no reason for him to be on suppressive therapy then if you both have herpes. what testing did he have done to confirm that he too is infected?
do you have hsv1 or hsv2?
I have HSV2 and so does he. He did the blood test thing about a week ago.
I don't have my results at my hse. Should I get them from my dr?
I will gladly look at both of your test results if you want to post them here - e.g. hsv1 igg 6.98 and hsv2 igg 4.5
ok, next time I go to my GP I will ask for them. Thanks so much
