Sore vulva no blisters, cuts, or ulcers

I've been checking my vagina a lot lately because I found some bumps in my public hair that look like molluscum or genital warts. I check in a makeup mirror at least 10 times a day and I think the tugging on my labia has made the left side feel sore and almost raw. It seems to feel like this after I've checked down there a lot in one day. I'm freaking out over the sore feeling and I'm going to get tested in 11 days but I'm scared that this might be herpes? I've been with my current boyfriend for 3 months and we have unprotected sex. He hasn't shown or told me about any symptoms. My last sexual partner other than him was 5 months ago. Someone please help me.

Thank you for your reply. Today it's not as sore feeling because I slept in a night gown with no underwear and I've been trying to not look down there. The soreness is now more concentrated at my lower labia majora, still no cuts, bumps, or sores. It almost feels like a mild yeast infection but not internal? The feeling is tolerable and I'm just still freaking out because well... It's my vagina.

the first thing to do is to put away the mirror!! As you have found out, the more you look, the more you irritate the skin and add to your issues. There is absolutely no reason to check out your nether regions that often!!

At this point, you and your partner should both discuss your full std testing and history if you haven't already. odds are that neither of you have ever had herpes igg blood testing done. I encourage you both to seek it out so you know who has what. also discuss if other std testing was done at the proper times too ( when to test for what is listed in the read before posting post on the std forum under important announcements).  You also should discuss whether you've both had your gardasil vaccinations too.

going to be seen is the best thing to do. a trained practitioner can determine if you have genital warts or MC going on genitally and can properly treat it if either is found.

does it sound like herpes going on? Sounds like what you already have surmised that you have overly irritated your delicate genital skin.
