HSV 2 IgG test Equivocal

Please, help.

Back in July, everything came back negative from my STD screening, except for HSV 1. I got tested at the end of January and got a 1.06 result. What does this mean? I am not sure what number I got in July but can a 1.06 mean I have been exposed? Could it be a false positive?

Since July, I have had unprotected sex with one person and protected sex (condoms) with another one. I performed and was given oral sex by the 2 different partners.

I have remained having unprotected sex with that one person until I found out about my results. Is kissing still safe?

Should I get the WB from UWashington and if so, when should I get it? My first sexual encounter with the individual I was having unprotected sex with was mid November and last encounter was 2 days ago.

No symptoms or outbreaks. Neither does my recent sexual partner.

In July and Jan, I tested positive for HSV 1 IgG.
The 1.06 is for HSV 2 IgG

Last partner just got tested a couple days ago.

Just to clarify; have you been testing positive for HSV1 on IgG in all your tests? Is the 1.06 an IgG result for HSV2?

Has this latest partner tested?
