Had to bumps?

I had 2 bumps under the skin on the lower part of my penis for about 4 weeks.  I put apple cider vinegar on them and they got worse.  Been about 3 weeks and they are finally starting to heal.  Went to the doc office and he said it might be genital herpes.  Told him they started out over 2 months ago but didn't tell him about the apple cider vinegar and now they have scabbed.  He sent me for a blood test.  In the past couple of days I have felt tired but have not slept well worrying about this.  Starting dating someone new in oct 2013.  Told her what my doc said today and she said it was not from me.  I got tested for everything before we started dating.  Does this sound like I might have herpes?

Could it be hsv1 on my genitals?  When I told him they were bumps, he said I could have got it from oral sex.

Hi, as a general rule herpes sores are not bumps under the skin, When they travel up the nerve from the spine they surface through the skin causing a blister or razor cut type sore. What your describing really does not appear as herpes especially having them for 2 month.
