Hands herpes?

I remembered in the past having acquired a skin condition from holding hands with my gf. It was very painful and it blistered. .

I never knew what it was then until now i suspect it could be herpetic whitlow. It was very painful and it had vesicles- and i got it from holding her hands when she had it.

It was 7 years ago and I hadnt had it since. I was thinking that if i would have an hsv test soon due to my recent exposures- but i didnt have any outbreaks for 2 months now..

Could this herpes on hands mess up my blood test??? Thanks

Is there any tests to rule out a recent infection?
It eas 2 months since my exposure but i didnt develop any herperic symptopmsin the genital area. I suspect a case of asymptomatic hsv. My prob is that i dont know if i could live a normal life knowing i have hsv in my blood after. I might stay single for life
