Check the paper result carefully just once more.
If it says >8.0 H for both HSV1 and HSV2 then this indicates you have been infected with both viruses.
Very likely you have had both these viruses for some time.

I had no symptoms but had my yearly exam and wanted all testing done.. The strange part is several places on the test it says negative like this

That 8.0 just seems like a pretty high number I've never had symptoms and that verse above plus negatives written in the reference line throws me off.
The reference ranges show the cut offs between positive and negative. Your results are positive. They have been cut off at 8.0 and most people with the virus will test above 8.0, there's nothing high about it than sense.
