Herpes and protected sex

I had sex with my girlfriend with a condon but afterward I realized some of her bodily fluids on my pubic bone area. I washed Thearea right after and I was wondering how concerned should I be?

Does she have herpes? Do you know?

Herpes isn't spread by bodily fluids but by skin to skin contact. Even with condoms, your skin is still exposed, but less of it is.

If you haven't had an STD talk with her, you should. You can go to an STD clinic together and get tested, and ease your fears. Make sure the testing includes a type specific IgG herpes blood test.
