At this point you could have the area swabbed and tested. Can't hurt. Plus it gets a Dr to take a look

It has been there longer than 48 hours though. Would that matter or would I still be able to get it swabbed?

Ok, thanks. Just a quick question. I have what looks like a little cut between my vagina and my anus which has been there for a while but can't remember exactly how long. I had a look tonight and it is still there and I sort of rubbed it and there seems to be a few more red sores patches which sting when I put e45 on them. It stang for a few days when I first noticed it then it stopped after a few days but it's started to sting since I touched/rubbed on it tonight. Thanks

Yes. You would have other actual hsv symptoms.

So if it was hsv there would be painful sores?

No. Your taking these symptoms out of context. All this in the absence of an outbreak simply is not hsv related at all

6 months. I am in the U.K. When I put my symptoms into google it comes up with hsv.

Those are not symptoms of hsv. How long after exposure did you test negstive.
