Herpes or something else???

Question?  I recently had sexual intercourse (2 weeks ago) and wore a condom.  I have begun to notice a series of bumps attached to my pubic hair at the base of my penis.  I am worried what this may be.  They don't hurt and are not opening into sores but the more I physically examine them the more inflamed they are becoming.  They are not spreading and I can only see them in a pronounced form when I stretch my skin.  I have looked online and from the websites I have visited this could be a sign of herpes.  Is this a common sign of Herpes or may it be something else?  I have an upcoming doctors appt for this condition, but I am trying to shed some light on this before I go.  Any advise.

So I figured out what the bumps are...Sebaceous glands.  I am told this is a normal thing and I don't have anything to worry about.  The way I understand it they are a cosmetic thing and not anything wrong with me.  What is your understanding of Sebaceous glands?

it seems like you are working kinda hard to even see these? If so, odds are they aren't anything to be concerned about. follow up on it with your provider for better answers.
