Herpes results

Hi there. I ordered a home blood sample test kit from the Better to Know website. I have been having everyday soreness, tingling and burning in my genitals and wanted to test for herpes as everything else has showed negative. I received my results today but they just say online positive for type 1 and negative for type 2.
Does anyone know if these kits are igg? Or the less accurate Igm is it?
Just baffled as I'm running out of things it could be and convinced Because of my discomfort that it must be type 2.
So grateful of any advise from you!

Ever so sorry only iust saw your comment. Hope you have your results now. I posted them back on a Saturday and got the results the following Thursday so about 3/4 working days it took

I emailed the clinic earlier to check and they gave me the results.

Hsv1 34.3
Hsv2 <0.500

Am I right in saying the hsv1 would be from childhood with teg higher number. Also would you say these results at 4months would be sufficent enough to say negative?

Hi, i would think it was an igg because it was a type specific so it would be quite accurate. We dont use igM do to false positive rate.
