Herpes symtoms?

Someone please help me!!! 2 weeks ago i had unprotected oral sex with a girl. Then I started having a red rash on the tip of my penis and a day later redness around my foreskin. There were also some red spots. No blisters or ulcers. The red spots/rashes disappeared within 2 days. I then had a test done and I tested positive for chlamydia but not hsv1/2 but that was because I took the std test only 2 weeks after exposure.

Does anyone know if those symptoms because of chlamydia or might it be herpes?

Please help!! Thx

blood testing for herpes 2 weeks after the encounter isn't remotely accurate. you need to wait at least 3 months for blood testing.

And also since I had a herpes test(IGG) done only 2 weeks after exposure, how accurate are the results

Thx!

Hi grace,

I think u misunderstood my explanation. Sorry I didnt word it properly. I meant the rashes/red spots appeared after 2 weeks. There was also a round whitish are that my have been a blister. No ulcers developed tho. And there wasn't any pain or itching

Also since it disappeared completely after 2-3 days what are the chances that it could be herpes?

thx

herpes won't cause symptoms the next day.

if the rash is gone now, really not much you can do. if it's still there, be seen and get it properly looked at.
