Am I infected?

My mom kissed my neck with what looks to be a cold sore that is healing and in the scab stage I think but I could be wrong about the stage and actual thing itself. After she kissed me I washed my neck with soap and water and 91% alcohol. What are the chances that she infected me because I've never had anything of the sort near a cold sore and I don't think I've seen one on her before. It was just a peck on my neck not like a full on makeout session but I'm freaking out right now and I'd like some input so anything anyone can get me would be great.

oral herpes in adults  is almost exclusively transmitted through romantic type kisses, not the social pecks we get.

really, this isn't any reason to worry.

have you ever been tested for herpes to know your status?

why so many worries about herpes too?  This is your 2nd post on it.

You aren't really at risk at all from this.
