Neutrophils are usually increased due to a bacterial infection. Herpes is viral. They can however, increase with acute inflammation, medications, or prolonged activity or stress.
Do you have herpes? Do you have an outbreak? How high are your results? You should work with your doctor to find the cause, but it's not likely to be herpes.
