It depends on what sort of torch panel they are running. since the igm was included I'm going to say you didn't have an accurate herpes blood test done. At this point I'd repeat your hsv2 igg ( no real reason to doubt your hsv1 being + since it was also + the first time ). See if you can get either a herpeselect hsv2 igg, captia hsv2 igg or a biokit hsv2 igg blood test done somewhere.

I can't say I have heard of the "Torch test." My advice is to get a type specific IgG test, such as HerpeSelect. Also, forget about getting an IgM test - they are very unreliable and should not even be administered. HerpeSelect test results taken in context will help to sort this out. Just make sure you have a herpes-knowledgeable provider who can interpret the results. For example, if you have a low positive HSV-2 result and lack of symptoms, I don't think the doctor would automatically diagnose you with herpes. Things can get confusing, so it is important to have a doc who has this type of experience.
