I was exposed to Herpes (don't know if it was 1 or 2) about four years ago. I had an outbreak shortly after. My doctor told me that the swab and blood test came back that I have HSV-1. I haven't had any other outbreaks or blood tests.
I recently had my yearly with my PCP and asked her to test me for everything. I told her that I'd been exposed to HSV, but I didn't say what type.
My blood work from LAPCORP shows the following:
Component Value Range
HSV-1 IGG <0.91 See Notes (UI)
HSV-2 IGG <0.91 See Notes (UI)
HSV 1/2 IGM 1.36* 0.00-0.90 (Ratio)
In her letter attached, she wrote that I positive for Herpes Simplex, but did not clarify what type.
PLEASE HELP ANYONE!!!!!!
