Tingling sensations are not a symptom of a primary outbreak. That sensation is known to happen in following outbreaks. It's the sensation of the virus "crawling" along the nerve path. Testing at 8 weeks is a great indicator as over 70% would test positive by then. Twelve weeks is conclusive.
Get tested at 12 weeks and if you need confirmation, test at 16 weeks using the Western Blot.
One follow up. What if I have tingling symptoms but keep testing negative for igg antibodies but have no lesions
Hi, 8 weeks would be a good indicator.
