Please help - I want my llife & sanity back - Dr Hunter's advice required

I had a single exposure to an HSV positive male at the end of an outbreak. We didnt have sex but there was oral and toucching

This was at the end of March...so 3 months ago.

Approx a month after i had genital iritation and began to panic.

3 gyno's 2 blood tests and a few GP's inbetween, I have not been diagnosed. First blood test for HSV 1 & 2 came up negative for HSV 1 and borderline for HSV 2....at this point i was suicidal

I started to experience pain in by butt and groin as well as tingling burning skin crawling sensations....but nothing on my skin - I drove my self to insanity & went to see a shrink

I was severley stessed..crying...depressed

2nd blood test almost 3 weeks later with another doctor that I trusted more came up negative for both & my doctor ASSURED me that i was clean.Symptoms went away almost immediately and stayed away for 4 weeks

I started going to the gym and back to yoga. Then butt pan started again...anxiety...tingling.

I checked myslf out with a miror obsessivly twice a day and picked on the smallest spot on my butt hwere I was convinced the herpes blisters were going to appear.

This madness has gone on for 3 months and the sypmtoms no wjust seem to be there all the time.

I recently went to a neorologist and had a MRI.

Results showed slipped dic that was pressing on a nerve on the left (where all of the dul pain / tingling etc originated from). So I celebarted!

I've been on medication to take away the inflammed nerve for 3 weeks noew (Lyrica) but the butt tingling / burning skin / dull pain etc senn sto have moved away from my butt and into my groin / genitals.

I also experience pins & needles on my labia when aroused.

Please please help. I have no idea what this is but am convinced that I will wake up one day with Herpes sores nad this is driving mt crazy.

Hmmm...no sex sounds doubtful for Genital Herpes...you had oral tho right? I doubt you have Herpes but if wanted to put your mind at ease, take a test at the 16 week mark since the incident.
