Getting herpes test after 5 weeks

So around 4-5 weeks ago I had gay unprotected anal sex with another male. He says he doesn't have herpes but I'm not sure. I've had symptoms including burning urination, and some greenish discharge that I've seen like twice in the mornings. I got tested for chlamydia gonorrhea and trich and hiv and came back negative for all of those. I haven't had any painful sores or blisters that I am aware of. Is getting a herpes test at 5 weeks worthless? And does this sound like it can be herpes?

Again, this does not sound herpes related at all. Testing at 5 weekss isn't useless but 8 weeks and beyond is much better. At 5 weeks your about 60%. 12 weeks is considered conclusive.

I've done so much research since I have been freaking out and do these symptoms not line up with herpes? Considering the painful urination and green discharge that I've noticed twice, and came back negative on all other std tests
I also have this sore on my tongue. It's not a blister or anything I can see but my tongue is just tender in one spot. This could simply be from stressing myself out though
