Worried about hereps

Hi,

I had an incident with a stripper 23 days ago in which she kissed me briefly (no tongue), I touched her body, I touched her vagina brieffly and inserted my finger for 1 second. Immediately after inserting my finger she sucked my finger. I may or may not have touched my genital area and I did not see any outbreak on her body. Five days after this I had fever like symptoms and for the past 6/7 days I have had tingling in my groin but no rash or lesions. I also have had pain inside of my urethra. I have tested negative for all STD's other than herpes. Does anyone have any advice?

First of all herpes is contracted by rubbing contact to force the virus into the nerve. Casual touching like your mentioning is really not any issue. Those that do contact it and show symptoms would have a genital sore show up at point of contact and often flu like symptoms appear shortly after.

The groin was not exposed so would not be related. Often tingling in the groin maybe from hemorrhoids

Would you not think that the tingling on the groin would be an indicator? What if I touched my genital area with the hand that I used to touch the vagina and finger?

Hi, your actions would no suggest you were exposed to herpes at all and since your penis was not involved any irritation your having inside your uretha would not be related to the affair.
