Std infection.

Hi Grace,
First off, thank you for all the work you do on this forum. I have a few questions regarding herpes and stds...

On Dec. 5th I received hand job from a man I met online. He used lube and the whole experience lasted about 5 mins. I had completely written off the experience and didn't think about it again, until however the 16th of Dec. I had sex with my girlfriend the night before and when I woke up my penis was sore, possibly from the sex, but then I took a shower it felt as if I had gotten soap in my urethra. I also had a pimple on my pubic area. On the 19th I went to the doctors and he said it was nothing to worry about but did a blood test for gonorrhea and chlamydia. He said that my pimple was just folliculitis. I went to see a different doctor because I wasn't very satisfied with his casualness of my symptoms. I met with a much more thorough doctor who is still not sure about what was wrong with me. He was however certain I did not show any symptoms of herpes. He was concerned with my stress level.

sorry for the long back story, here are my symptoms:

Abdominal pain, back pain, testicular and penis numbness, fatigue, blurred vision (when looking faraway), and cold hands and feet.

I've also been having sever stress over this whole incident. Almost borderline panic attacks so I'm not sure what symptoms could be caused stress.

All of my tests came back negative stds and hiv. I was not tested for herpes because I didn't have any signs of sores.

Do any of these symptoms sound like herpes or hiv to you? Also I know my risk was very low but I cant seem to shake the idea that he did give me something..... please any advice would be welcomed!

Hi thank you for the response. I know a lot of my symptoms are due to stress. And I may have just figured out why my eye has been bothering me, I think I'm getting a stye. However, my abdomen and is still in pain.  I also have blood in my stool. I took the hiv test 14 days after that encounter do you think that is enough time for that act? Also do you have any idea of what my problem is if it's not related to stds? Thanks so much! I know a lot of people come here paranoid so I'm trying not to be but I can't help it.

Hi, Grace doesnot come by to often but i will try to answer your question. You cannot contract any std including herpes from a handjob so your symptoms are not related to that act.
