Hello. Okay, so here's a timeline of what's been going on:
5.23 I began having sex with a new boyfriend
7.10 I had strep throat symptoms after performing oral sex on him (sore throat, swollen glands) - no diagnosis confirmed
7.15 I had yeast infection symptoms
7.22 I had pathogen swab that detected BV
7.25 UTI symptoms began (with hematura)- urine culture confirmed it was UTI - antibiotic seemed to help, but symptoms never really went away.
9.10 UTI symptoms worsened (with hematura), but negative urine cultures. Due to my birth control, I don't get a "normal" period, but sometimes I would have bleeding after sex or a thick mucus discharge randomly.
9.17 Still had UTI symptoms, started amoxicillin "to be safe"
11.1 Had sex with the boyfriend - He used his own saliva as lubricant. He had what he said was a pimple on his lip, but didn't want to kiss because he's had cold sores before. It was probably a cold sore.
11.4 I discovered boyfriend's infidelity, so I was tested for STD's right away (his other girlfriend called me)
11.5 IgG was negative for both 1 & 2. Vaginal pathogens showed BV and a yeast infection
11.7 IgM was positive 2.42
11.10 Ex-boyfriend was tested for herpes IgG: positive for 1, negative for 2
11.15 I noticed a swollen lymph node in the right groin - not sure how long it's been there
11.16 I found a tiny pimple/ingrown hair on my inner left thigh
It's not unheard for me to let my imagination run wild (I thought I had Ebola 3 weeks ago), but the evidence is piling up. If the herpes is related to my urinary symptoms, wouldn't my IGG be positive since I've had these symptoms on and off for so long? He never performed oral sex on me - maybe once in June. My physical exams never revealed endocervicitis. Since this was a long term relationship with someone I trusted (he said he had been tested), we would often have sex without a condom. Needless to say, I'm confused... Do I have herpes?
