Vaginal cut

Hi I'm new here , well anyway I get this cut next to my vagina, it's a thin long cut(something like a paper cut) it goes away on its own..

I'm wondering can this be herpes? I always had cold sores since I was a kid. So i know I'm positive for type one. I did blood work nd I'm positive for type 2, which I had no idea it was 3.3 .. Is that a strong positive ?I can't believe I have herpes down there. I have not ever had an outbreak . Or maybe the cuts are an outbreak .

Well my question can it be possible that one and two are positive because I get cold sores?? Nd can the cut be herpes. Nd can type 2 be a false positive  ,

I been having cold sores since I was a little kid. I remembered  being in the first grade and having them. I was honest with him from the beginning nd told him about my cold sores nd that it was contiguous so we should not kiss during outbreaks. Am suspecting he did give it to me . Because I first notice him having rips after sex and he would tell me that he was sensitive down there abd that me being dry would caused him to rip. He does have psoriasis so I thought maybe it was that. Idk am very confused and don't know how to address it to him. I have not ever had these cuts before him

Your cold sores have nothing to do with it.  That would be HSV1 and if you have cold sores (actual herpes on you lips - like me and like most Americans), you are essentially immune from contracting it genitally.

Depending on how long you've been getting the outbreaks, there is a good chance you go it from him.  Has he been tested?

I guess I'm in denial, I haven't had any other sex partners in the past 4 years . I haven't told my boyfriend yet  bout these results, he might try to Blame me since I get cold sores. I don't want to infect him cuz he goes down on me to give me oral .

Amy,
What you'll see when you do some more research on this site is that there are two very common types of outbreaks.  The first being the traditional herpes blister/sore/ulcer; the second being something that closely resembles a paper cut.  Exactly as you're describing.

The point is, you are having HSV2 outbreaks now.

I have not ever had an outbreak down there. The Gyn tells me that it doesn't sound like herpes. That herpes is more like sore and bumps filled with fluid. It doesn't scab after neither. I guess if it happens again I try to get a swab.

The only way to know is having a sore swabbed as blood does not say. But since your having a vaginal issue and hsv2 is most always genital, we could assume its gential. Oral is not common.

So I probably do have it. I really want to know whether it's genital or oral. How can I find that out? Is it possible to have 1&2 in the mouth?

Hi, if you tested positive for hsv2 at 3.3 it does fall into the positive range. Anything under 3 might be considered a false positive. At this point it would be best to have this reocurring cut swabbed within 48 hours after appearing to confirm and if you have time, have one more blood test for hsv2 and 1. Sores as your describing do fit the herpes as a herpes sore.
