Oral hsv 2 symptoms

First I'd like to thank grace for the great service she provides. Now on to my question.  I've read up a lot on oral hsv 2 and oral herpes in general. I know that generally oral herpes doesn't include symptoms inside the mouth except during the first outbreak. I also have read that if there are symptoms inside the mouth, they are accompanied by external sores (on the lips, etc).  My question is would these facts hold true with an oral hsv 2 infection?  Or generally, would oral hsv 2 symptoms, if symptomatic, be the same as oral hsv 1?  My thought is that hey would act the same but any confirmation would be great. Thanks.

oral hsv2 presents the exact same as hsv1 orally does. the only way to tell the difference would be in the lab.
