cuts on vagina

I know a lot of people get cuts on their vagina during sex... but my question is can you get cuts on your vagina from other types of dryness?? toilet paper or even masturbating?? I have these cuts between my vagina and my anus.. they're little and they come and go... I don't have any burning or itching... just hurts when i spread my legs or when i use the bathroom and pee gets on them it stings......i don't know what it is!

the best thing to do is to be seen and get a proper exam done. sometimes you can have fragile skin in the genital area that needs extra tlc too. sometimes it's a simple as a barrier cream applied regularly to protect the skin ( like aquaphor, desitin, a&d etc ) and other times you benefit best by using topical estrogen cream to strengthen the skin.

could these be herpes? well they could be. that's why a full work up is in order. odds are that you've never been tested for herpes before to know your status. also sometimes chronic yeast infections cause these issues too.
