herpes??

I had some skin contact, rubbing or whatever, a while ago and got freaked out that I could've gotten something.  I had a bacterial infection which turned into a yeast infection but then the doctor thought it was herpes initially.  But I had a test done, culture and blood, (after three months) and they both came back negative.  But I still have irritation from the infection, doesn't really look like blisters, not sure what it is actually...this guy fingered me about a month ago, could it be possible I ended up getting herpes from him then?  Him and I talked about stds actually and herpes specifically and he seemed to be pretty careful about testing and stuff, so I don't think he has it.

Yes. Just got back actually.  She said she really didn't see anything still. That it would be obvious and I would be in pain.  She said also that if I had a culture and blood test that came back negative that the results were most likely accurate, a very very very very small percent there was a mistake.  I guess I'm just paranoid.
