help...im devastated

Im so gutted. I have slept with the same person for years and assumed he was faithful so this whole thing has got my head messed up. I know this might be the cause but i digress...... I will go to the doctor in time but im so confused.

I think i have herpes but im unsure....or i just want to pretend its not happening? I have two small roundish flesh coloured slighhhttttttly raised bumps on my pubic bone area.  This is the second time. The first time it was one. They never "do" anything or turn into water blisters, weep or scab. They just go away. Im guessing herpes but i just want to have opinions :( the first time around 3 months ago i just kept the area clean and used some perfume on a pad to ry anything out and everything was fine. Now this week i see the two...i can barely see them but they are there. At first i thought it was shaving rash//ingrown hair which i sometimes get badly but its not. A hair was trapped the first time around in the bump and i got rid of it but it wasnt the usual ingrown hair at all. But makes me confused as iv read hairs cant grow within herpe areas. I am going on and on i just need a bit of an answer. as far as anyone can please. thank you so much in advance.

to know if you have hsv1 or hsv2 would be checking your herpes status.

You need to go and be seen and get these looked at. you also can pursue type specific herpes igg blood testing to see what your status is.

I don't recommend putting any perfumes on  your genital area or a pad to see if they are irritating or not. why risk adding more irritation to an already irritated area?

The perfume isnt very sore no (maybe a little sting then it goes) but it seems to help clear the skin up. the same as it does with facial spots (acne) which is why i did it :/ In the two instances they have never hurt or itched or tingled before hand which is confusing. Iv actually had more pain from ingrown hairs after waxing.

Im just so worried and i know i should grow up and see someone but i live in suchhhh a small christian town and everyone knows everyone. So it makes it harder yanno? its only  days later and they seem to have died down as in less raised. almost "gone" hopefully. Sigh. Ill have to head to gyno and woman up, thanks for your reply georgia.

from experience, i can tell you that it is highly unlikely that it is either type of herpes. if there is no pain or itching and you were able to put perfume on it without excruciating pain, i dont see how it could be herpes. i would still see a gynecologist just to be safe, i go anytime there is anything unusual going on.
