I don't have anything to add from my original replies about hsv1 oral infections and transmissions.
To greatly simplify it hsv2 doesn't "like" the oral area. You can transmit it there but it's less likely to happen. if you and your partner are concerned about it - utilize barrier protection. Also you taking daily suppressive therapy also lowers the already low risk.

It can be transmitted by say a cuz or relative trying a sip of a drink etc.??? The nurse @ my dr.'s office informed me that i could be "shedding" 5-10% of the time w/ out ANY symptoms. Since i live in a small town i worry she's misinforming me & i'm becoming overly paranoid. *LOL* ;) My blood results as i posted for HSV-1 were over 2.0 BUT i have yet to have anything orally.
When i do become sexually active i suppose i can not ever receive oral sex w/ out transmitting HSV-2 to my partner?? I sure do like receiving oral sex! *LOL* I'm a multiple, 6-8x orgasms gal. hehehehehe Oh.... & i miss it. I'm not much on giving oral though. :p
Thanks in advance my "Saving Grace" as i call u. ;)

Ah well... Thanks for your help :)
Most adults have hsv1 orally - it's incredibly common.
That said - your symptoms in your mouth sound more like canker sores which aren't due to herpes ( google them ). Canker sores are not contagious. You can have both oral herpes and canker sores both.
as an adult - oral herpes is almost always transmitted thru romantic type kisses. It's not likely to be transmitted thru sharing food with an adult or social pecks.
swimming is not an issue.
