ob is outbreak
if you don't want to get tested them don't. Otherwise honestly I have no other advice to offer you at this point. Nothing else you can do at this point but get a test, see what your status is and go from there.

I haven't performed oral sex on anyone...and what is 'ob' ?
Thank You, Grace -
your symptoms don't sound like herpes going on. That said, that doesn't mean that you don't have herpes either orally or genitally and just don't know it. see what I'm trying to say - 2 separate issues.
if you had contracted genital herpes from oral sex, odds are you would've had a very classic ob and wouldn't be wondering, you'd know.

Hi, Grace -
I had one more question...If a girl gave me head, and she got tested for herpes after that, and it came back negative, wouldn't that mean I dont have herpes? Cause I would have passed it on to her during that time she gave me head..but she came back negative - is that correct?
just pain typically isn't std related. follow up on it with your provider as needed.
also google pelvic pain syndrome and take a glance at some of that info ( http://www.pelvicpainhelp.com/excerpts.html is a good link on it ).

I know the statistics, but this doesn't sound like herpes symptoms. Thats all im saying...
I have been told it could be anxiety because I think about it all the time and i'm very worrysome. Who knows. In the near future I will get a herpes test, but other than that, what else could it be?
Thank You Grace
condoms only reduce the transmission of herpes by 30-40%. You still need to be getting periodic herpes testing to know your status. It's for your protection and your future partners.
1 out of every 3 people your age has hsv1 orally whether they know it or not. It's incredibly common. About 1 out of every 5 females your age have hsv2. Both are fairly common and you could have either and never know it which is why periodic igg blood testing for herpes is a good idea in general.

No i haven't had any sex since then. I have received "head" from a girl and she doesn't have any herpes on her lips or anything...wouldn't she maybe get herpes (and maybe on her lips) from giving me head if i had it?
I heard herepes doesn't come and go though, like mine is...
Harry you may want to get tested just to know your own status. You have given enough time between the possible exposure. Have you had sex since you had it with your lady friend?
If you are worried about it I would suggest getting tested.
No because it doesn't really sound like herpes to me either and the girl who i was with is clean...so it makes no sense! ahhhhhhhhhh
this doesn't sound like a herpes issue either.
have you been tested for herpes at all during the past year if you are concerned about it?
