Thanks to both of you for the response. I did go and have them cultured - will let you know the results. I've definitely stressed myself out... I've had 4 or 5 'pimples' on my neck that are concerning, but they're on both sides and seem to be individual bumps (not clusters). Nothing looks like a true blister but, as you mentioned, I'm looking way too close at them. Again, I'm presuming that an initial oral outbreak would not present in this fashion.
Thanks again - if the results come back good, I'll have another blood test done at 12 weeks to confirm.
you are just adding to your anxiety if you are reporting that no changes less than a day later! put away the mirror and professional grade spotlight. RELAX!!! The more you obsess over all of this, the more you work yourself up.
if you have new symptoms since you were last seen, make an new appointment for them to be looked at. At this point it'll be next week but sometimes just having someone look and say "oh this is that" or "this is this" is really helpful in alleviating anxiety about things.

No one here can diagnose you, ultimately. Re-read graces post - you need to be seen and properly evaluated at this point.
No changes - still worried and driving myself nuts. Anyone got a good word this morning? Everything will be fine - the sun came up, birds are singing kind of thing?
Thanks Grace. I'll watch these to see if they get any bigger...or would that even happen? Can I say that I'm extremely tired of looking at myself in mirrors?
it was way too early for any herpes blood testing at 2 weeks post encounter.
If you have symptoms, it's best to be seen and have them properly evaluated. If they suspect herpes, a lesion culture can be done on them.
bumps on your neck aren't likely to have anything to do with this oral sex encounter. loss of appetite is probably anxiety related.
The risk of contracting a std in general from performing oral sex is low. It's not even worth testing unless you have symptoms.
