my igm and igg came back negative for hsv,1 &2 at 11weeks post encounter. my symptoms were, urge to urinate frequently and penile discomfort 17 days after expousure. i saw 3 health care providers that said this was not herpes.

The truth is - you won't get any answers monday from a herpes standpoint. If the pills you've talked about were acyclovir, famvir or valtrex - going for a culture monday is a total waste of time because they won't be enough active virus shedding by that point for the culture to pick up on. No idea what cream you are talking about either. They should've cultured your blisters the day you were seen for them and they didn't so now it's too late. Get a blood test for herpes on monday along with a visual exam and then repeat the blood test in 3 months from the last time you had sex. Your partner should also get a blood test now to see what their status is.

had sex before the doctor looked inside the rectum had no problems on the outside it was all inside the rectum sex jan 13th while still hurting then exam was jan 15th
he looked in the rectum on jan 15th and the same day went to family doctor to get pills he said all i needed to do was use the cream i just need to know the truth
no just cream but two other doctors prescribes pills i have been taking them whats your take the doctor is culturing monday i still hurt and have takin pills three times a day since last tuesday
Waiting until monday to get the blisters cultured is way too late. Even if you could get them cultured today it's probably too late for an accurate herpes lesion culture. Did the doctor who originally suspected genital herpes in your anal area prescribe any medications for it?

can you answer this is a culture the only way to know if you have herpies all my test are negative and the doctor claims my breakout was last tuesday i go monday for a culture to colon rectal doctor who has been practising 30 years

short version i had severe rectum pain on jan 12th went to doctor last tuesday he looked in rectum came back said you have herpies simplex i tested that day for herpies 1 and 2 then three days ago using the same blood sample the infectous disease doctor sent in for igg test and igm test today they called and said it was negative so monday i go back to rectum doctor with 30 years working in the rectum field he is taking a culture of my sores in the rectum i feel 90 percent better trying to find out for sure if i have herpies he said his visual was herpes when he looked inside the rectum last tuseday last week. thanks man i am very scared
I know nothing about your story and timing? Give me the short version as I am not a dr but, have been doing alot of resrerch on the topic. which is not a good thing for ones mental health if you are worried that you have contracted herpes.

i dont know what to think i have been scared for days about this three doctors including family doctor infectious disease doctor took the recommendation of the colon doctor when he looked in my rectum that he was 100 percent right I dont know what to believe.
yes he said looked like blisters did not culture last tuesday bringing me back in for cultur monday at 2;30 he has 30 years as a colon rectal doctor i am worried but all test are negative is the test 100 percent
