Hello just a few questions to ask regarding transmission or hsv2,
1. Is it possible with no symptoms and you've not had a out break to pass hsv2 on?
2. If you share sex toys how long can hsv2 live on these
3. Regarding the sex toys if someone else was then to use them a few hours after someone with hsv2 did but again no symptoms would thisthen be a risk ? And they could then catch it ?

Hi,
1. yes as shedding occurs about 15% of the time, meaning the virus is on the surface with no visiable sores. Also note that most of the time when its passed is in thinking a skin irritation is not herpes. Maybe think its a pimple. They can be very subtle in nature.

2. Possible yes, probable no. Would take a special situation like an immediate rubbing into an open sore and rubbing it into your genital area. Really not an issue.
