See last message.
p.s. why can't you get another TT for 30 years? You should be able to get a booster shot in 10 years from the last one.

Hi I believe Dr. Santos is not here any more. I am not a doctor I am a not the community leader and microbiologist. I can try to advise you.

So, how is your finger now is it still causing problem? Is it painful, swollen or does it have pus? Do you have a fever?

I agree if you had the tetanus vaccine it should be good for 10 years. So now you just have to worry about other infections since it is a puncture wound.

Hi,
What other symptoms are present and can you elaborate on the size or depth of the cut? Booster injections for tetanus toxoid is usually given every 10 years and if you were given last year, this may still be protective. It is best that you check with your doctor also for proper evaluation of the cut. Take care and do keep us posted.
