will an s t d create protein in the Kidneys?

I am a female and  had some symptons that seemed like scabies or chlamydia . I then started having lower back pain with burning when i urinate and some lower abdominal pain , I then started having a lot of nausea. Later pnuemonia type symptons set in and i was hospitalized. I had septic shock. spent a week in hospital and was released ,I then was notified that they had found salmonella and e coli. I retrieved my records from my stay in the Hospital and found I was diagnosed with urogenital flora and polymicrobi flora. I have had several Urinary tract infections and with a urine smell of swamp water .this smell comes and goes when i take the antibiotics but continues to repeat the cycle. I have had to be hospitalized several times and get fluids to build me back up. After seeing a private urologist and doing some test they have notified me of having high protein in my kidneys. I have not mentioned the symptons of my original what i believe to be an std because of my marriage. Now iam concerned that this might be related...Is this possible ??
