Long term complications from kidney stone removal

I was just wanting to know if issues with, going to the bathroom more often, and having pain every now and then couldn't just be scar tissue from surgery and scar tissue build up would cause the bladder issue or is it something totally different all together. I had surgery 7 years ago, but couldn't find anything during surgery. Ever since then my bladder has gotten weak and weaker. It's to the point now I'm going to the bathroom 3 and 4 times a night but only go a little. I'm 37

TCASH78,

Discomfort shortly after my procedures was common and lasted for about 3 days max. Frequently urination during the night may just be something natural with your body style that has nothing to do with the surgery you had. Many folks suffer with night urination and have to take meds for it that have never had kidney stones or the resulting surgery.  As far as any scaring goes, you shouldn't have enough to talk about, but probably only an XRay will tell you that for sure. Again though, I doubt that would be your problem with slight pain every now and then. I'd think more towards you having more, smaller stones that could be passing on their own. Once your body starts making these little jewels, it tends to continue to do so. Good Luck and please let us know what you found out.
