Why am I experiencing these symptoms?

Hi. I am 16 years old. I have a kidney stone that is at least 3mm big.

Right now, I am experiencing minor flank pain and some blood in my urine.

If my kidney stone isn't passing, why am I having minor pain and some blood?

Thank you

Hi,

How are you doing?  Was thinking maybe you passed it without even knowing ?

Hi,
What other  symptoms are present? Kidney stone less than 5 mm in size is usually passed out with the urine. Factors such as its shape, type and number of stones present are important considerations also. If there is flank pain and some blood in the urine, you may need to have this checked also by your doctor to rule out infection.  Take care and do keep us posted.
