Elevated Liver Enzymes

ALT at 141 AST at 50.  Hepatitis tests ruled out hepatitis.  Anyone have any suggestions to get these enzymes down to normal?  I heard milk thistle works but only if the cause of the elevation is eliminated.  Are there situations where the doctors cannot find causation of elevation?  This is my biggest concern.  Thanks

To answer your question: yes, there are times when doctors can not identify a cause for liver damage. In cases like that, they call it idiopathic (or cryptogenic).
