Hi I was just reading an article about the pancreas and that if it is not working right it can cause jaundice as well. I hope you will give us and update
Thank you
Dee
I hope that by now you have gotten some results about why your levels are so high. I hope it is something simple that you can get help for.
Take Care

What were the results of your ultrasound?
Are there any other abnormal blood levels as well? If you are jaundice d as your wife maybe noticing, then you may also see dark urine too. If there is an increase in your direct bilirubin (you need a total Bilirubin level greater than 2.5 mg/dL to cause jaundice), then your kidneys can excrete it since direct Bilirubin is soluble.
Hopefully the imaging will provide some insight. Let us know how things go for you. Hopefully it will prove to be nothing more than a temporary GI/biliary inflammation issue. Take care.
