Chest pain

anyone out there with chest pain?  I have had multiple neurological sx's for 5 years with no explanation.  Now am having chest pain for about 6 months.  Dr. plus several ER visits and no cause found.  I was looking at my labs and on my screening for lyme I was equivocal.  Then was tested with the Western Blot and was neg.  Does this require further investigation and by who?

Thanks,

Hi Sue,

My western blot from IGeneX was "negative", even though I had a few positive and IND bands, bands that are specific to Lyme and cannot be seen in other diseases.

Before starting treatment for Lyme, I had a lot of chest pain (ribs), arrhythmia and palpitations. I spent MANY hours in ERs... Had an echocardiogram, I wore a Holter... They couldn't see anything wrong with my heart. "Stress" they'd say. They were wrong. I've had Lyme disease for at leats 10 years.

You need to find a Lyme-Literate doctor (LLMD). Your best move would be to do as Pasty suggests: write a post on LymeNet.org.

Good luck!

I would suggest seeing a physican that specializes in lyme.  You can test negative and still have it. Visit lymenet dot org for lots of info.
