Debunking The Detox Myth

While the article does eventually mention one ingested "detoxing" product, it primarily describes personal care products in the U.K. labeled with the word "detox".

I do not believe that detoxing is a myth for Lyme + coinfection patients undergoing antibiotic treatment. I am a natural skeptic and yet I feel better when I take chlorella or activated charcoal. There's clearly some benefit to them.

Just like cilantro and parsley have been proven to remove certain heavy metals from the body, I am confident that there are many substances that genuinely help remove toxins from the body.

Whether or not peddlers of products are honest about this is a whole different question.
