I was bitten by the smallest deer tick I've ever seen. It was smaller than the letter "D" on a dime. Not even sure how I noticed it. I'm not sure how long it was attached, but it didn't look engorged. I ended up taking 2 doxy the day it was removed as a precautionary measure. A few days later I developed sensitivity on and around the bite. There was an obvious visual skin reaction as well, and I'm trying to see if this looks like a rash associated with Lyme or merely just agitation? It lasted a total of about 6 days. I tried searching the web, but the examples I found seemed to show extreme versions of the rash, and I couldn't find any described as rashes attributed to ticks where Lyme was not present. I've included pictures of the tick as well. Does this look like a nymph or adult male?
